WFG National Title Insurance Company EVP Lynn Riedel is one of HousingWire’s “2020 Women of Influence.” Riedel, who is also President and Chief Operating Officer of WFG NTC’s Washington division, is being honored for “shaping and propelling forward the mortgage, real estate and fintech industries.”
Riedel and the other 10th Annual honorees were announced on August 3, 2020. They were chosen by an Editorial Selection Committee organized by the media company based on “professional achievements within their organizations [as well as] contributions to the overall industry, community outreach, client impact and personal success.”
“This year’s Women of Influence represent leaders who have faced some of the most unprecedented challenges the housing industry has seen in years,” explained Kelsey Ramirez, editor of HousingWire Magazine. “Their strength set an example of leadership that impacted not just their teams or companies, but the industry overall.”
Riedel’s 43-plus years in title and escrow secured her a place in what Ramirez called “one of the most competitive years we have seen.” In addition to leading the NTS division, WFG’s centralized title processing entity, she has been instrumental in helping WFG earn and maintain its high Net Promoter Score. Riedel was, in fact, a founding architect of WFG’s growth strategy, actively assisting the company to expand its national footprint, market share and the build-out of the entire WFG National Title Services platform.
To ensure that more women will gain positions of influence throughout the industry, Riedel has been an active board member on the Women’s Council of Realtors, as well as the Puget Sound Mortgage Bankers Association, Escrow Association of Washington, Chamber of Commerce and the Washington Land Title Association. She also applies her knowledge as a licensed instructor for the state of Washington, teaching licensed continuing education for REALTORS and loan processing officers.
